Oh 'Tis the Season Part 1
The weekend after Thanksgiving to the weekend before Christmas there are so many events and holiday parties to attend. In regards to the holiday parties you want to stand out from the crowd but you still want to be appropriate for the event you are attending. A business 9-5 work holiday party outfit is not the same as the side hobby turned business every other day of the week holiday party. You have to understand the setting, caliber of people that will be present and possible future oppurtunies that may spring forth.
There are a few things to keep in mind such as what is your purpose for the night? Are you looking to exchange valuable contacts with influential people or are you looking for a few drinks on the house and return home knowing you had a great night? Depending on the reason can play a role into your outfit. Do you play it safe or spice it up?
